"Alis Volat Propiis" or in English, this Latin phrase means "to fly by one's own wings." I actually have this as a tattoo because it so strongly fits who I am. I've always been independent.
And we have a sign hanging in our house that says this: "If I had my life to do over again, I'd find you sooner so I could love you longer."
